Whilst secluded, Mercia Marina is easily accessible being in the heart of the Midlands minutes away from the A38/A50 junction and 20 minutes from the M1 and East Midlands International Airport.

Burton-on-Trent, Derby and Nottingham are respectively just 10, 15 and 25 minutes drive away. There is a train service to Derby from nearby Willington station and local bus services run along Findern Lane outside the Marina.

Directions to Mercia Marina

By car

Mercia Marina is very easy to find. From either the A38 or A50 turn off at the A38/A50 junction. Take the B5008 (Etwall Road) towards Willington. Take the first turn left into Findern Lane. Shortly after the railway crossing you will find the entrance to the Marina on the left.

By rail

Take the train from Derby station or from Burton-on-Trent station to Willington. Get off at Willington and follow the towpath towards Findern. The Marina can be accessed from the footbridge.

By bus

Catch the Derby to Burton-on-Trent bus via Findern, Willington and Repton or from Burton-on-Trent take the bus via Newton Solney, Repton and Willington. Both bus services stop very close to the Marina.
